Nile Price is a Virginian Filmmaker who received his B.S. in Mass Communications from Norfolk State University and his MFA in Film from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Price wrote, produced, and directed films such as Bitter Earth, Home Again, and his first animated short film, Wander. His films have been screened at festivals such as Toronto Black Film Festival, Afrikana Film Festival, Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival, and Virginia Film Festival, where his recent short film, For the Moon, received the Programmer’s Award for Best Short Narrative.

Price was also a 2023-2024 Fellow at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and the Marcie Bloom Fellowship. He is currently a Directing Professor with the VCUArts Cinema Program in Richmond, VA.
